Seaton Under-13s completed a superb run-in to the completion of their Exeter and District Youth League season.
The youngsters won seven out of their last eight outings to gain promotion to Division 2 in their first season together.
In their final game at home to Heavitree doubles from Cody Bowditch and Ollie Caute and one from Kieran Daniels saw them to a 5-3 win which also secured the side promotion.
Coach Tony Bartlett said: “The team have played some exciting, attacking football, and with real flair. The boys deserved to go up. We scored well over 100 goals and played a good passing style of football. All this with an excellent disciplinary record of no bookings throughout the season. I am proud of the boys and am now looking to build on this excellent start for the team.”
The team would also like to extend a huge round of thanks to all the supporting parents throughout the long season and also to the sponsors, eco-logical-you of Lyme Regis, and The Seaton and District Lions.
