Milwey Rise 1, Seaton 12 Seaton Under-15s were big winners in an East Devon Youth League encounter, writes Andrew Franklin.
Seaton made a bright high-tempo start and took an early lead with Connor Cox the scorer. Cox the bagged another before Max Richardson netted, but a defensive error allowed the Axminster hosts to pull one back and half-time arrived with Seaton 3-1 up.
After the break Seaton stepped up a gear and began to pass the ball well. The goals were son flowing with Lewis Cottam (2), Tony Pinder, Ollie Binion, Pete Smith (with a great strike from the halfway line), Lewis Franklin, Lewis Gibbs and Matty Vincent, the team’s regular keeper netted a brace.
Lewis Franklin was named Seaton Man of the Match and the team are next in action at Colyton on Sunday, December 15.
