Seaton Under-9s took part in the Exeter and District Youth League Under-9 Plate competition and just fell short on the day.

The tournament was held at Speeds Meadow, Cullompton where conditions underfoot were soft and the wind was of the arctic variety!

In the group stages, playing five short matches, Seaton had won three and drawn one before their final game against Twyford. They went intro the contest knowing that a win would see them through.

However, it was not to be as they lost a close encounter 1-0, conceding their one and only goal of the days action!

Goalkeeper Kieran Jaycock was on top form and was shielded all morning by an impressive defensive pairing of Harvey Green and Adam Clinch. In attack Aaron Hale continued his good goal scoring form in the victory over Brixington, whilst Henry Matthews never let the opponents defence rest.
