Lyme ladies played their stableford competition on Thursday and Kathy Briggs scored an impressive 39 points to win, writes Richard Jackman.

However, there was a keen tussle for second and third as Emma Davies beat Hayley Rowland on count back, both recording scores of 38 points.

The junior stableford on Saturday saw George Seed put in a commanding performance to score 40 points, from David Lyon 36 points and Bradley Rowe 35 points.

The past week has been maintenance week at Lyme, and, with the hard work from David Everett and his team, we all look forward to even better conditions as many of the summer competitions reach the final stages.
