Feniton did their situation towards getting away from the foot of the Macron League Premier Division table the power of good as they defeated Seaton Town 4-0 at Acland Park.
The victory, coupled with defeat for Exmouth Town Reserves (beaten 4-0 at home by Heavitree United) and points dropped by Hatherleigh Town in a 2-2 draw at Upottery, means that Fenny, with nine games remaining, are eight points clear of third bottom Hatherleigh Town and just six points shy of eighth paced Beer Albion.
Charlie Selley scored twice, one of them from the penalty spot, and the other two Fenny goals were scored by Elliott Dyer and Aaron Pearse.
On Saturday (April 17) Feniton travel to Clyst Valley before a run of three home games in five days as they host Cronies, Newton St Cyres and then Clyst Valley with the matches on April 21, 23 and 25, respectively.
