In the second period, Viv Grant, at centre for Uplowman began to get her side into their stride and they turned the tables to go 16-13 in front. With Lorraine White playing well for Nu-Heat, the third quarter was even, with Uplowman starting the final session 26-22 to the good. Uplowman had the better of the last period to record a 36-29 win that saw Flames drop to fourth place in the table. Flamingos A maintained their unbeaten run with a 27-16 win over KPF. Becky Lefeuvre was the Flamingos' star whilst Christina Oyo took the plaudits for KPF. Flamingos led 10-1 at quarter time but forced their way into the game to gain a point from their performance. Complete Meats also gained a point from their defeat at the hands of Keeley's Angels - the other team in the division to retain their 100 per cent record. The Angels were 21-9 in front due to some good work from their GS but, with Lindsey Turner playing well, Meats did just enough to gain a point from their 22-43 defeat. Conway Visions also moved up the table thanks to their 34-21 win over Tip Top Trees Oaks, but, once again, the losing team had done enough to gain a point for their efforts. Visions led from the start but the Oaks, for whom Louise Garman played well at GD, were always looking good for a point. Gill Hall starred for Conway at centre.TeamPGDPtsFlamingos A [1]3+609Keeley's Angels [3]3+399Conway Visions [4]3+227Nu-Heat Flames [2]3+147Uplowman [5]3+17KPF [6]3-303Tip Top T Oaks [7]3-492Complete Meats [8]3-572Division TwoFlamingos B 41, NAS Vehicle Repairs 10; Sidmouth Toucans 35, Bampton 19; ADP 50, CMC Birds 3; Tip Top Trees Acorns 43, St Mary's 20.Flamingos B, like the A side, have started well and their win over NAS was a comfortable one.
