The members' race kicks off the seven race card at 1pm where the Robert Chanin-trained Madam Noso is sure to be a warm order to follow up her easy success at Great Trethew in February. Devon farmer Tom Brown will also be hoping to get his first winner on the board on Kitley Hassle. The gelding, who is readied by the Frosts near Buckfastleigh, has the ability to win and was last season's leading novice in the Devon and Cornwall area.

The 12 entries in the restricted for novice riders include the Monique Pike-trained Terminalexcitement who got up by a neck under Richard Hawkins to win at Ideford Arch earlier this month. Whodouthinkur may also have chances if his jumping holds up.

Entries in the ladies' race include the grand veteran Zabenz who could provide one of the Hobbs sisters with another win. Ha Ho Magregor was second in an intermediate at Badbury Rings in February and could go well.

Entries in the men's include Joacci who has impressed in his two wins in open company this season and is sure to be on song for another success.

The 16 entered in the intermediate include the multiple winning Fully Loaded, the good mare Gemgaballou who could make her seasonal reappearance and Yufo who's been off the track for a season but should strip fit on his seasonal debut.

Two divisions of the open maiden include Ideford Arch second Therecessionbeater and Orvita who has shown signs of definite ability - if it all falls into place he could go well.

A hog roast, trade stands, bookies and easy accessibility make the track the perfect location for a Saturday out in the countryside. Fill your car for 20, go on your own and its 10, either on foot or in the car.

The course is situated at Kenton near Exeter off the A380.
