Year three and four pupils from Colyton, Kilmington, Seaton, Shute and St Mary’s Primary Schools took part in the Axe Valley mini tennis league held at Colyton Grammar School.

The Grammar School’s student sports leaders introduced the pupils to a range of mini tennis activities, including ‘Get out of Jail’, ‘Champions’ and ‘Tennis Rounders’, before supporting the pupils with their competitive doubles games.

St Mary’s were the overall winners with Colyton a very close second.

Both schools will represent the Axe Valley at the East Devon Finals which will be held at the Exmouth Indoor Tennis Centre.
