Honiton seniors enjoyed improved weather for their return leg with Exeter Golf and Country Club, writes John Pawley.
Always a keenly contested encounter which sees the winners lift the Stan Parker trophy, it began with Honiton leading 4-2 after their success in Exeter.
In glorious sunshine, Alan Pollock’s men came away with another win, this time three-and-a-half to two-and-a-half and so were overall winners to the sune of a seven-and-a-half to four-and-a-half score line.
That means that the Stan Parker trophy remains in the Honiton display case.
