Honiton saw the playing of the second round of the Hellier, Steele Perkins trophies last week to determine the over all winners, writes Andy Wagner.
Members seemed to get the hang of it this time with some sparkling results leaving Andy Sharland’s (plus three), taking Division One ahead of Alan Pollock (plus three) and John Tierney (plus one).
Division Two saw a similar outcome with Dave Chaffey (plus four), Ben Phillips (plus three) and Julian Phillips (plus two).
Overall the Division 1 Hellier Cup was won by Andy Sharland (with scores of minus two and plus three for a plus one).
Division Two and the Steele Perkins Trophy went to Ben Phillips (with his scores of plus four and plus three to become plus seven).
