Honiton Stingrays competed in the Dawlish Gala, with swimmers achieving a further 30 personal bests against some stiff opposition.

Some of the young swimmers were experiencing their first encounter with opposition from other clubs and they really enjoyed it. Other teams competing were Okehampton, Dawlish and Exmouth.

Head Coach, Ralph Watson says “Some swimmers beat their PBs three times on the night. It just goes to show, they are improving all the time, which is good news.

“I was very pleased with their attitude and team spirit. I liked the way they cheered their teammates. Let’s see if we can do the same next Saturday.”
