Last Wednesday was one of those rare occasions through the winter when just being on the golf course was a pleasure, never mind the score, writes Andy Wagner.

There were some good scores from familiar names in a ladies section N/Q stableford competition.

In Silver Division Tricia Swindell was again in the prizes scoring 34 Stableford points to take first place.

Ann Trayling was second with a score of 32 points.

In Bronze One Division Janet Hughes took top score with 36 points with Linda Blundell second with 31.

The Bronze Two winner was Jan Portlock with 31 points with second place taken by Catherine Hunt with 26 points.
