Taking on Commando Challenge

Axe Valley Runners Sue Campbell, Eleanor Wood, Ian Apps, Paul Johns and Bernard Fry, plus two honorary members, Bernard's son Seb and neighbour Kimmo Evans, entered the seven mile Commando Challenge as the Umborne Ugs and Co.

Axe Valley Runners Sue Campbell, Eleanor Wood, Ian Apps, Paul Johns and Bernard Fry, plus two honorary members, Bernard's son Seb and neighbour Kimmo Evans, entered the seven mile Commando Challenge as the Umborne Ugs and Co. They raised £581. The total money raised by teams over the weekend was over £200,000 (for Devon Air Ambulance and Help for Heroes). The Ugs actually finished second mixed team and second vet team.
