FIVE primary schools across the Axe Valley took part in a tennis competition at Colyton Grammar School.

All Saints, Colyton, Dalwood, Membury and Seaton primary schools took part in a series of competitions, with Seaton clinching the win from Colyton by two points.

Colyton Primary School Head Teacher Nic Harris said: "The competition went very well. There were a series of games after school and we are grateful for the hard work of the PE leadership team.
