Archant

It was the late, late Tone show as Master Blasters resident anchor man Tony Bennett left it to the bitter end to drop in what turned out to be the competition winning spare to wrest the 142 Cup from the grasp of 5Skins Liam Dushynsky as the Honiton ConClub Skittles League’s 2013/14 season officially got under way, writes Andrew Meecham.

The competition was a round robin event played on all three alleys with the top two from each group playing out the final to the same format.

It was on the final alley that old ‘dead eye’ struck to add the 142 Cup to the Summer Grand Prix Cup he’d won a couple of weeks previously

The League proper starts this Thursday (September 19) and full details are posted at: www.honitonconclub.co.uk
