Honiton Town Reserves showed little effect of 11 long weeks without a game when they defeated Lords XI 3-0.
Blake Freemantle, Aaron Pearse and resent signing Rusty Roper scored the Town goals.
Manager John Lewis said: “Given we had not played for 77 long days I am very happy with that performance.
“Playing on a difficult surface we did try and get the ball down to play, but we were also sloppy with the ball at times but that’s as to be expected with such a long period since last game. All in all, three points is what we wanted to achieve so it was job done.”
