Staged on a glorious day the event was supported by teams from Devon, Dorset and Somerset. The format for the competition was a bow maker (teams of three with two scores to count).

The winners were the trio of Sue Kelson, Rosemary Shepherd and Sue Fosett from Bridport and West Dorset.

In second place were Rosemary Bickham, Hanna Jacobsen and Jenny Modica from Lyme Regis and Yeovil whilst third place went to the team of Jen Jones, Hazel Carmichael and Gill MacGrath from Wells.

Countback over the back nine was needed to determine the minor placings with fifth going to Helen Kenworthy, Sheila Thompson and Yvonne Anning from Axe Cliff and Sidmouth with Helen Gaudi, Pauline Willis and Joyce Henderson from Axe Cliff and Royal Mid Surrey, settling for sixth.
