Most people visit Turkey as a lovely warm tourist destination, but not Ragnhild Richards, who ran the 63.6Km (approx. 40 mile) Salomon Cappadocia Medium Trail race.
She ran superbly to finish in 11 hrs 45 mins and ended up being the only women over 60, who got to the finishing line to win the over 60 ladies trophy.
Graham and Diane Newton ran the undulating Weston Super Half Marathon. Both had great runs with Graham finishing 1st MV70 in 1:41:53 and Diane finishing 10th FV65 in 2:41:03.
Four AVR’s travelled to Southsea for the Great South Run and Rob Collier completed the 10.1 mile course in a fantastic time of 1:01:27, which placed him 124th out of 15,567 runners; a 30 second PB over 10 miles for Rob.
Simon Dimmock had a target time of 1:10:00 and was delighted to finish 510th in 1:09:26. Karen Eyre was1,621st in 1:19:19 and Jeremy Slade produced a course PB, finishing 3,438th in 1:28:11.
