Tedburn St Mary 1, Upottery 0 The villagers lost their opening Fresha League game in Mid Devon by a single goal margin.
Dan Prettejohn’s side battled hard throughout and, despite creating a number of chances, were unable to find the back of the Tedburn net.
On Saturday Upottery will be looking to make progress in the Firewatch Devon Senior Cup.
Prettejohn takes his side to Torquay based Waldon Athletic who finished third in the South Devon league Division One last season.
