Jack Trevisic (43), Adam Crabb (39) and a battling seven from Mike Arscott helped the villagers to 149, passed for the loss of just three wickets by the visitors. Sam Bath and his dad Adam Bath together with Adam Crabb claimed the wickets.
On Saturday the 1st XI host Tiverton and Bickleigh and the 2nd XI make the long trip to North Devon III.
