Upsher in winning form

Feniton tennis player Jake Upsher has topped the Devon County Leaderboard for the third successive season.

Ten-year-old Jake, who plays out of Exeter Tennis Centre, won a medal and embroidered towel for his efforts in the '10 and under' age group.

Jake, who attends Feniton Primary School, amassed more points than anyone else in Devon, playing county level tournaments in Devon and across the south of England over the winter season.

Coach Charlotte Wallace said: “Jake has done amazingly well over the last 18 months. He has been training very hard and his efforts have really paid off, which can be seen with his three wins of the Devon leaderboard.”
