Honiton players contested the prestigious Presidents Trophy, writes Ann Desmoulins.
The conditions were good, but a cold North Easterly wind made sure all had to don their winter woollies.
In first place were, Cathy Uttley and Jason Gosling with a very creditable net score of 73.
Second place went to Jane and Mike Watts with net 77 and third were Vicky and Barry Rogers.
The only two of the day, in a format that is the toughest in golf, mixed foursomes medal, came from the winning pair.
