Axminster had a terrific 19 point success in their C Division meeting with Kilmington.

Having restricted Kilmington to 193-8 they powered their way to a nine wicket win thanks to Michael Wakely’s unbeaten 107 and an unbeaten half century from Matt Pyle.

Upottery batsman James Mitchum was dismissed just two runs short of a century in his side’s 15-run defeat to Halberton and Sampford Peverell.

Whimple also went down, losing by 59-runs to Clyst St George. Upottery II were left to rue the rain after they had Chudleigh 33-2 in reply to their own 208 in which Stuart Drew scored 86. The other principle run scorers were Gary Kennard (32) and Jason Kennard 26.

Seaton II were comfortable seven wicket winners over a Sidmouth III side they bowled out for 94. Will Mudd and Ollie Pinnock led the run chase.
