The bowls fixtures this week were disrupted by the weather. Two friendly games had to be cancelled on Monday and Tuesday.

However, the ladies Over 50s triples league match scheduled for Wednesday against Pince Gardens, at Seaton, was played. The result was one triple won, one lost, but it was an overall win for Seaton earning four points. This was followed on Friday morning by the return match at Sidmouth for the ladies. Again, Seaton won one triple and lost the other, but won overall so another four points were accrued.

Congratulations to Ron Rowley and Roger Woolland who have won the Bowls Devon, Section 3, Grater Pairs competition.

They beat a pair from Madeira Bowls club in a close fought game which had to go to an extra end. They won 22-20. They now go on to the quarter finals.
