Whimple take their bid to stay in the D Division to the final day of the campaign.
That’s following their sixth weather ruined match day of the season.
Ben Silk’s side travel to Seaton knowing that they have to finish the day with seven more points from their visit to Court Lane than Countess Wear bank on their visit to Honiton.
Skipper Silk says: “It’s going to be a nervous afternoon. We tried everything we could to get then game with Cockington on. They (Cockington) had been good enough to travel even with a couple of players light. The final straw was a massive down pour thirty minutes before the start. We were brushing water off the square and it was doing little good so we conceded defeat, yet again, to the elements.”
