Members of the Honiton Bowling club have had another good week for results, playing in a brace of local friendly matches against Ottery and Madeira, plus the County Yetton contest with Kingsley.
Ottery St Mary visited Honiton to play a Mixed Friendly match, Honiton winning (101 - 57). Top rink for the day was M Critchley, B Mackintosh, D Hawkins, D Hislop (35 - 9).
In the Ladies Friendly Triple match, Madeira were the visitors to Honiton and a tight contest on the day ended with Honiton winning (52 - 47). Top rink for Honiton was P Palmer, M Parsons R Barwick (23 – 12).
In the County Yetton match, the Ladies of Honiton yet again were on winning form, producing some outstanding bowls in beating Kingsley (103 – 63). Top rink was Y Williams, D Hawkins, H Chambers, J Grant (43 - 14).
