Withycombe Colts travelled to Somerset to play North Petherton in a friendly fixture and returned having won 31-7 after putting on a terrific all-round show.
Withy put what has been a difficult season behind them to put in the best performance of the season so far, with all players giving a fully committed performance.
With the half-time score at 12-7, the game could have gone either way. However, after the break, Withy stepped up a gear, dominating both ball and territory, scoring some fine tries along the way. Those supporters that made the journey were treated to a well-spirited game and a top performance from the first year Withy colts.
On Sunday (February 3), Withy return to merit table duties when they travel to Tavistock.
