Millwey Rise were 3-1 winners on their visit to Offwell Rangers for a pre-season fixture, writes Dick Sturch.
What was predominately a Millwey Rise 2nd X1 scored in the first half through Nathan Womersley, but that was cancelled out by a great strike from an Offwell forward early in the second period.
Fraser Beament then headed home from a corner kick to put Millwey ahead and a Jack Farrant super strike completed the scoring.
On Saturday (August 11) Millwey Rise first team continue their build up with a visit to Beer Albion Reserves.
