Treble six was the format for the latest ladies competition at Honiton, writes Andy Wagner.

Teams of three, made up of players from all three divisions and the format was best three, two and one scores to count over each set of six holes.

With some temporary holes in play due to works week you might have expected stableford points to be hard to find, but not so for champions of the day Liz Wood, Maris Dart and Liz Rogers who came in with 91 points.

They were followed in second place by Mona Carter, Margaret Black and Majsan Stroud scoring 88 points.

Olwen Eaton, Janet Hughes and Margaret Jory claimed third spot with 86 points and Joan Smith, Sharon Dacre and Monica Lacy were fourth with 83 points.
