With works week well underway, and some temporary greens in play, Honiton ladies’ format on Wednesday was a three-ball, better ball stableford with two scores to count, writes Andy Wagner.
It was wet underfoot and for a time and the ladies played hide and seek with the flag in some low cloud and mist, but this didn’t put off the winning team of Elizabeth Wood, Liz Rogers and Brenda Hyde who romped home with 76 stableford points.
In second place were Joan Smith, Carol Cole and Betty Weeden with 73 points, and third were Diana Gee, Chris Luttman and Julie Eyles with 72 points.
