The 2015 AVR-organised Woodland Relay competition was held last week, writes Dave Mutter.

This year’s three-times-two-mile race at Morganhayes Covert was contested by 35 teams from six clubs.

Overall winners were the Livingstone family, sons Johnny and Patrick plus dad Alan from N1 Triathlon Club, all the more remarkable given that two thirds of them were juniors!

First senior ladies were from AVR (Anna McLoughlin, Eleanor Wood and Clare Hansford, 12th overall), as were the boys (Matt Thurgood, Ethan Huntley and Lewis Burridge, eighth overall) while the first girls were Honiton (Flo Swan, Morgan Davey and Jasmine Stone, sixth overall). AVR would like to thank the owners of Leacroft Touring Park for kindly allowing runners to use their car park.
