Wright leads Honiton Under-13s to Woodbury win

Honiton Under-14s were 9-run winners when they met Woodbury in a Bradleys East Devon Youth League game.

After winning the toss and batting Honiton scored at a run-a-ball rate to close on 121-6 of their 20 overs.

C Wright struck five 4s on his way to the top score of 26 and there were useful contributions from T Olive (11no) and R Simms (10).

In reply Woodbury were restricted to 112-9.

C Wright (2-27), N Parris (1-11), J Sellick (1-14), T Olive (1-20) and S Olive (1-24) claimed wickets for Honiton whilst N Parris held a brace of catches and there were also catches taken by B Freehandle and A Forsyth.
