Axminster III were well beaten by visiting Cullompton II.
The Mid Devon side batted first and powered to a declaration at 249-5. Zac Hammond, Ian Hall, Ban Paveley and skipper Peter Kai each took a wicket.
Kai then carried his bat from the opening slot for an unbeaten 60 which was almost half his side’s reply.
Fourteen-year-old Dominic Goodhew struck a superb unbeaten 23, but the final wicket fell on 121.
On Saturday Axminster travel to a Cheriton Fitzpaine side who, like the Axe men, have yet to win a game this season.
