Honiton Band, in conjunction with the Millennium Green Committee, is aiming to promote the Millennium Green as a venue for concerts.
A spokesman said: “It’s an ideal spot and forms a natural amphitheatre. Our annual Charter Day evening concerts have proved to be very popular, with audiences of well over 100 and this year’s, on July 23, was no exception.
“We’re hoping to replicate their success with a new Sunday afternoon venture. We’ll be putting on another short concert of popular music, on Sunday, August 14, from 3pm to 4pm. Admission is free and audience members just need to bring along a chair.”
