This year’s Rotary Club of Axminster Annual Charity Concert promises to be a swinging success, with the 22 musicians of The University of Exeter Jazz Orchestra playing a range of styles, from contemporary jazz to classic swing.
The event, taking place at Axminster’s Guildhall on Friday, December 3, at 7.30pm, will be raising money for Rotary’s worldwide project to eradicate the crippling disease polio.
Previous charity concerts, including the Treorchy Male voice choir and The Band of the Royal Marines, have raised money for a range of local organisations and national charities, including The Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes.
Tickets – priced 10 in the stalls and 12 in the balcony – are available from The Archway Bookshop.
