HEAT three of Exmouth Festival’s band competition,The Exe Factor, takes place at Exmouth Pavilion on Friday, April 27.

Once again there is a strong local line up, with a profusion of new talent.

The doors will open at 7.30pm with the first act on at 8pm. Running order will be drawn closer to the day. Tickets are �4.50 in advance and �6 on the night. Early purchase will save queueing as well as money.

The audience are invited to submit reviews of the event to theexefactor@hotmail.co.uk

One review will be published on line and also here in the Journal, with the writer of the successful review receiving two free tickets to the final. All reviews submitted will be considered for the overall writers’ prize for the event.

The winners on the night will go on to the final on May 25, to compete with the winners of the other two heats, plus the overall winners of the audience votes from the three heats, for the main prize; two days’ recording at Sound Gallery Studios, by courtesy of Sound Gallery Studios and Exmouth Festival.

There will also be a prize of a video shoot for the best original song, offered and produced by Christopher Davy of www.jestzoo.com and Exmouth Jesters basketball team.
