Events start on Sunday
HAWKCHURCH’S annual fete week will kick off this Sunday (August 22) with a car treasure hunt at the village hall.
The event will start at 5pm, followed by an opening evening the next day with village short mat bowls club. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Other activities throughout the week include bingo, a knock-out skittle competition, bell-ringers, a teddy bears’ picnic and parachute jump from St John the Baptist Church Tower.
The fete will take place on Monday, August 30, starting from 1.45pm.
