THREE cultural centres in Honiton have teamed up to provide a range of fun activities this month.

The Thelma Hulbert Gallery, Honiton Library and Allhallows Museum will all be hosting events during the course of Edwina Bridgeman's Orchard Exhibition, which is running at the gallery until August 29.

As part of it, there is a chance to hunt for hidden apples, which was launched on Saturday, August 8 and entry forms can be picked up from any of the three venues until Saturday, August 22.

Magical tales will also be told by professional storyteller Claire Viner, who held her first session on Monday, August 10, at Allhallows Museum.

Her next session is today, between 10.30am and 11.30am at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery.

The final storytelling session, to be held at Honiton Library, will be between 10.30am and 11.30am, on Thursday, August 13 and children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The following week, people will have the chance to try some local apple juices and sample some apple cake at the three venues on different days.

Allhallows will be offering the samples on Monday, August 17, the Thelma Hulbert Gallery on August 19, and the library on August 21. Each session takes place between 10.30am and 11.30am.

These events have been made possible by a sustainable development fund grant from the East Devon Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB) partnership.

The exhibition itself, which has been brought to the area by New Brewery Arts, of Cirencester, is open from Wednesday to Saturday, between 10am and 4pm, until Saturday, August 29.
