The money was raised from the last performance, Love in Idleness.
Also, on the same night, Becky Fry received �109.19 on behalf of Red Cross Haiti appeal, from the first two plays, A Tale of a Tree and Platform 2.
MAdD is currently offering free places for next term at their new venue Axminster Guildhall, through the ‘Don’t Stop me Now’ campaign.
Starting on Tuesday, January 25, the group will be working on a new piece Somewhere, a musical based on the gang rivalry between the mods and rockers looking at songs from Grease and West Side Story.
Go along and learn stage combat skills, harmony singing and build the technical knowledge to stage your own performance.
The proceeds from the show will go to the charity of your choice.
