SeatonMusic has announced it programme for the new season of performances, which open on Thursday, October 18.

‘Stars Galore in Six Heavenly Concerts’ – under this banner, SeatonMusic is bringing a range of top performers to the Gateway in Seaton for its 67th season.

The season opens on Thursday, October 18, when the Linos Piano Trio play works by CPE Bach, Beethoven, Schumann and Ravel.

The November concert (November 15) features baritone Nicholas Mogg accompanied by Jâms Coleman (piano) singing songs in English, French and German.

The December concert with Sheku and Isata Kanneh-Mason (cello and piano) sold out the day after he played at the royal wedding.

Joanna MacGregor returns to play Beethoven, Chopin and other works on February 21.

String quartet music from Haydn to Britten is provided by the Castalian Quartet on March 21, and a wide range of music is scheduled for the A4 Brass on April 11.

They will include music by SeatonMusic’s late patron, Gordon Langford.
