Picture competition for Colyton
Children can enter a painting competition, which has been launched the Colyton Market Committee.
The Colyton Market Committee is launching a competition for children to create an A4 picture of a market, which will feature in publicity material.
There are prizes of �5 vouchers for the winners of the under-fives, five to eight years and nine to 11s. The overall winner, in addition to having their design in print, will also win �50 worth of books for their school or playgroup.
It must be drawn by hand, not computer generated. Entry is free; just write your name, age and telephone number on the back of your drawing. Deliver it to Bulls Court House, Dolphin Street, Colyton. EX24 6NA. Or take it to the market on October 26, which will be held in the town hall, between 9.30am and 1pm.
If you like, you can do your picture at the October market. Paper and crayons will be provided so you can create your masterpiece in the hall.

The December market will also be taking place in the town hall ,in Colyton, between 9.30am and 1pm, on December 21.

There will be the usual stalls selling local produce – meats, bread, vegetables, cakes , cheese etc along with a few craft stalls.
