Work by poets and artists will be on display at the Arts Cafe in Axminster until the end of the month.

John Howard Greaves, principal consultant for Vigil Literary Consultancy, has been widely published since 1976, having originally qualified with the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Vigil Literary Consultancy offers sympathetic yet rigorous attention to the work of poets; providing an appraisal and coaching service.

John is also currently running a course at the Arts Caf� entitled “How to Read Poetry for Enjoyment and Insight”. For more details phone him on (01297) 33959.

Three local potters are participating in this exhibition. Pieces range from table-ware by Mick Crook to fun-pieces themed on nursery rhymes and famous stories by Linda Sweetland.

This exhibition also features large garden sculptures by Ann Ford.

Finally, a number of pictures by popular local artist Hillary Harron, have been incorporated into this exhibition including four scenes from Axminster, namely: Axminster Station, the Minster, Market Day and Arcadia Jazz performing in this year’s Arts in the Garden season. All are very reasonably priced.
