Scott offered slot at Noel Gallagher gig
Sweet Black Angels to perform at After Show Party in the 02 arena.
Honiton folk-rock singer Scott Phillips, whose solo stage name is The Peaceful Hooligan, landed a top job for his band, Sweet Black Angels, when he supported The Specials at a recent gig in London.
He was asked to perform at Noel Gallagher’s After Show Party at the O2 in London next February - and decided the job should go to the Angels’ new line-up, which includes a new keyboard player.
A bus from Honiton is being organised to support the band at the event.
The second single from Scott’s solo album is now available to download from www.myspace.com/thepeacefulhooligan. It is a reworking of Sweet Black Angels’ Set Yourself Free.
