Axminster Musical Theatre’s next treat for theatre goers after their great success with The Full Monty last November is South Pacific!

Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic musical is being staged at Axminster Guildhall this week, from Wednesday, November 15 to Saturday, November 18, at 7.30pm with a matinee on the Saturday, at 2.30pm.

Set in an island paradise during World War Two, two parallel love stories are threatened by the dangers of prejudice and war.

Nellie, a spunky nurse from Arkansas, falls in love with a mature French planter, Emile, and thus begins their whirlwind romance.
