Kilmington is set to hold its annual flower show and village fayre on Saturday July 29.

One of the last traditional flower and produce shows, there are more than 130 classes for flowers, vegetables, preserves, cookery, crafts and a special section for children, something for everyone and entries are free!

All will be on display in the floral and craft marquee from 1pm.

The afternoon fayre which moved to its new showground last year now provides some real family entertainment.

Arena shows start at 2pm with a ‘Kids Open Fancy Dress’ and the fun dog games are another show favourite and a new one added for this year is a ‘Dog Fancy Dress’.

There is also live music from ‘In 2 The Blue’.

Entries for the flower show can be made at Kilmington Village Hall on Wednesday, July 26 11am to 12.30pm and Thursday, July 27, from 11am to 12.30pm and 4pm to 6.30pm.

Entry is free for children under 16, and for adults £3.
