Lyme Bay Chorale will be hosting a singing workshop which will conclude with a concert at the end of the event.

Members of Lyme Bay Chorale are inviting singers to join them in a ‘Come and Sing’ day on Sunday, October 29, in St Michael’s Parish Church, Lyme Regis.

Experienced vocal coach, choir trainer, singer and conductor Julie De’Ath Lancaster will take everyone through the music.

The day will start with registration at 11.30am, with down-beat at noon.

Participants are asked to bring a packed lunch but the hosts will provide tea and cake in the afternoon and there will be an informal free concert at 5pm for family, friends and anyone who would like to enjoy the wonderful English choral music of Edward Elgar, Edgar Bainton, Hubert Parry and George Dyson.

The day will cost £15 to include the hire of the scores.

Proceeds will go to support Lyme Bay Chorale’s Young Singers Bursary Scheme.

Anyone interested in participating is asked to ring Sally on 01297 444580 to let her know you are going.
