East Devon always has events going on and here are just a few for the coming days

A floral area demonstrator will be Sallying Forth Again when Honiton and District Flower Club will be hosting Sally Taylor at Offwell Village Hall.

The event will take place on Thursday, February 8, at 2.15pm.

Visitors are welcome, at a cost of £5 and there will be refreshments available .

The Friends of Lyme Regis Philpot Museum will be holding a talk by Thomas Cadbury, assistant curator at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeter, on Thursday, February 1.

He will be speaking about ‘The Seaton Down Hoard’ with the group aiming to review the local history of the area to set the discovery in context.

The talk will take place at Woodmead Hall Lyme Regis, starting at 2.30pm.

Admission costs £2 for Museum Friends and £3 for visitors, to include tea and biscuits.

A fortnightly bingo session is due to be held at Axminster Town Football Club, in Tigers Way, on Sunday evenings.

The sessions will be raising funds for the Axminster New Youth Club.

The next session will be on Sunday, February 4, with doors open at 7pm and eyes down at 7.30pm.
