Family fun with fossils

PUBLISHED: 17:30 10 August 2011

Lyme Regis Museum will be hosting a family fossil day, under the title Jurassic Sea Dragons.

Paddy Howe and Chris Andrew are back in the museum all day to discuss giant marine vertebrates.

See the museum’s impressive fossils and the personal collections of Paddy and Chris, including extremely rare ichthyosaurus breviceps discovered recently on the beach at Lyme – only the ninth to be found in the world!

The event takes place on Thursday, August 11, between 11am and 3.30pm.
