Top vibraphone player Roger Beaujolais will be playing in Dalwood next weekend.

One of the country’s top vibraphone players will be performing at the next Tuckers Jazz Club.

Roger Beaujolais is in great demand at jazz festivals and jazz clubs throughout the UK with his own quartet (featuring three top-line rhythm musicians) and also guesting with other groups.

Entirely self-taught, he has been playing the instrument since he bought his first one in 1977.

When he performs in Dalwood, he will be backed by a great trio led by Neil Burns, arguably the South-west’s best guitarist and with fine bassist Kevin Sanders and highly experienced drummer Coach York.

A spokesman for the event said: “It will be a great evening of popular jazz standards by a terrific group of musicians.”

The gig is set to take place on Saturday, November 11, starting at 8pm, at The Tuckers Arms, Dalwood

Tickets for the event cost £10.
