THE Thelma Hulbert Gallery, in Honiton, will be hosting a new exhibition of drawings of lace.

Teresa Whitfield's drawings are often mistaken for actual pieces of lace. The process of creating these life-size, intricate white lace drawings is almost a re-enactment by the artist of the original lace making process. Both activities are labour intensive and require vast amounts

of time and concentration. This exhibition is the result of the artist's many museum visits to research lace collections across the country.

It will run from Saturday, September 6, to Saturday, October 26.
